i saw God today

As I looked back at the barn and house i noticed a glowing spear of clouds that seemed to
be coming right down on my house. I though of the book Piercing the Darkness and how there
is a whole realm of reality that we are not in touch with. It seems like the touch of God on my family.

Michelle and I are now in our 50's. I am looking forward with great anticipation what God has
for us in the next 50 yrs of our lives together.

I Saw God today

The morning of Nov 1st I awoke after a great night sleep. I decided to go for a early morning walk back into my woods. I did not get past the lane before the Lord began to impress me with his majesty.
The colors so perfect the smell of the early morning cool air laden ed with the first morning dew. Across the field is a tree peaking up through the fog. The morning color outlining so perfectly.

The day is done pick of the month for Sept 2008

This is my pick of the month shot of Michelle and I looking to the west as the sun sets over the Pacific ocean. What a great place to recall the events of the day and reflect on the wonderful God who made it all. There is no worship service more powerful than this one. It gives me goose bumps just writing this.

Photo of the month

I have decided to get with the 21st century and start my own blog. If the kids can do it so can I. I am however refusing to get involved in face book as I am pretty sure that may be evil somehow.

So the purpose of this is for me to post a monthly photo and take votes from my family and friends to see what is the best. I would be glad to get a photo of the month from other family members and post them as a kind of photo competition. I have discussed this with Melissa who agreed in concept but was unable to get a committment so i am going to compete with myself.
